Blender Text Not Showing Up. i made an intro, but when i render it the background shows up but the text doesn't. Go to view > viewport render. i am trying to use a font called din medium, which is a postscript font, in blender. i tried different ways to render an animation and finally found a way to solve this problem in blender 2.8. the text object is not showing up past a grease pencil square on a final render, even if it does in the viewport: the bge only supports mesh objects so text objects, meta objects, and nurbs won’t show up. However, when i browse, i cannot see the font listed. today, we fix blender's strange text faces. an over the top solution could be to show the text in the default system font, and make a pop up that tells the user. iirc, according to the recent cvs logs, rendering animated text objects had problems due to some dependancy. I fear i may have messed something up in the compositor.
